Well he had home work and I couldn't wait. I was actually going to build the gun with my 17 yr old son and let him do most of the building as I felt this was an easy build and a great father son project. I just recently purchased you 90/22 stock kit and I must say I am very happy with it. ![]() You can check your barrel length by removing the barrel from the 10/22 receiver and measuring it from muzzle to breech.Ī lot of engineering went into the kit and everything looks really cool except for the fake silencer it's a cheap piece of plastic and it kills the whole look of the gun for almost $300 with shipping I expected a lot more I'm only referring to the fake silencer the rest of the kit is vary impressive The HTA 90/22 requires a minimum barrel length of 18" to achieve the 26" overall length. Federal law requires rifles to have a minimum overall length of 26". However, some 10/22 variants and aftermarket barrels are shorter than 18". MOST 10/22 barrels are long enough to produce a legal length rifle in the 90/22 stock system.
